Coated MCC manufactured by Vijlak Pharma Ltd is an improved product over MCC.

PRODUCT :
Coated MCC is an improvement in terms of its suspension over our earlier grades of Microcrystalline Cellulose in terms of its rheological properties. It is a colloidal form of Microcrystalline Cellulose, which has been blended with NaCMC and dried.

The CMC serves as a protective colloid and also aids in dispersion of the product. Coated MCC disperses easily in water to form a colloidal solution or white opaque gel depending on the concentration.

PRODUCT APPLICATIONS :
1. Foam Stabilizer As in Aerosol Foams.
2. Body Agent, Stiffner, Opacifier As in pharmaceutical and Cosmetic creams, vaginal Gels
3. Emulsifier As a pharmaceutical and Cosmetic lotions and creams.

ADVANTAGES OF USING CMC COATED MCC
1. Used mainly for suspensions and emulsions required high shear mixing & low shear mixing.
2. Suspension Viscosity stable over a pH range of 4 – 11
3. Sterilization at High Temperatures will not alert the Physical Properties
4. Compatible with many Hydrocolloids.
